Please join the Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Council (SCSAC) on Saturday, May 28, 2022 our 10th Annual Walk of Hope and Life Promotion. The walk will begin at the Barrie City Hall and proceed down and along the waterfront. Registration begins at 5:30 pm with the walk taking place between 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
There will be an opening ceremony, smudging, guest speakers, entertainment, reflection, and walking.
This walk is taking place to remember those who have been loved and lost to suicide, to raise awareness of suicide in our community, and to support those who are struggling. Let’s walk together.
There is no fee to register as a walker, however we ask that you either seek pledges, bring a donation or make a donation online at CanadaHelps.org. Pledge forms are available on our website www.hopeequalslife.ca or Facebook Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Council
All funds raised will go directly to the Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Council to support and promote awareness through our initiatives, programs, and community events.
