Fleurish’s annual Summer Night Market will take place on Thursday, August 27th, from 5:00PM-9:00PM, in support of their Fresh Start Employability and Independence Program.

Stepping into our market, you will find a variety of local artisans offering a wide-range of handmade items, including clothing, jewelry, accessories, decor and more! Fleurish will also have their own boutique prepped and ready to go with all things floral & local! Guests can indulge in both sweet and savoury tastes from vendors and a food truck.  Adding to the atmosphere will be live music by local musician, David Stone! The full vendor line-up can be found on Fleurish’s social media pages.

Fleurish is a non-profit floral studio, boutique and coffee shop creating beautiful fresh flower arrangements, serving delicious coffee and tea beverages, and selling locally made goods. Simultaneously, they facilitate the Fresh Start Employability and Independence Program for women in our community experiencing barriers hindering personal success. Fresh Start is a paid, transitional work experience offering employment-based skills training, personal and professional growth and community support in a safe and therapeutic environment.

This is a family-friendly, free event for all! Proceeds raised at the event will be in support of Fleurish’s Fresh Start Program, geared towards empowering women in our community.

PEACE Education Services Simcoe County invites you to join a vital prayer initiative to reclaim the spiritual land of the hearts and minds of Orillia’s children, youth, and the schools that teach them.

We are gathering to make a powerful proclamation over all schools in Orillia. We will declare a season of overflowing harvest and restoration where our students are firmly planted and secure. (Amos 9:13-15)

Our hope is that this gathering will be the start of a dedicated group meeting to continue interceding for our students, teachers, and educational community.

As one of Canada’s largest Christian festivals, it draws thousands annually with its high-energy parade featuring Bible-inspired floats, marching bands, choirs, dancers, and worshippers lifting the name of Jesus in the heart of the city.

Join our Street Team at Faith Baptist Church in Huntsville for an exciting kick-off event for their KidsMin Midweek and Jr High ministries! Come by and enjoy an exciting evening including treats, fun, and games! Drop-in anytime during the evening. While you are there, registration is available for their Fall programming for Streetwise (Grades SK-5), Cubbies (age 3-4), and Sola (Grades 6-8).

“What we have, we will share.” This is what drives the operation of OSHaRE. Owen Sound Hunger and Relief Effort (OSHaRE) is a community meal program located in downtown Owen Sound. We have been serving our community and surrounding area since 2013. OSHaRE receives no government support; it is funded by donations, grants and fundraising. The Walk for OSHaRE is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It helps to support all our programs, including our Community Meals, School Lunches, Family Assist Meals, Supportive Outreach Service Meals, Food Rescue and Grey Bruce Food Distribution Depot.

The Walk for OSHaRE in-person walk provides an opportunity for individuals, families, businesses, and groups to come together and walk through Owen Sound to all our different program locations and then back to OSHaRE. The in-person walk will begin at OSHaRE (946 3rd Ave. E. Owen Sound) on Friday, September 18th starting at 4pm (registration at 3:30pm). Following the walk there will be a thank you reception and tours at OSHaRE.

If you are unable to attend on September 18th, but you would still like to support OSHaRE by walking, you can do the Virtual Walk for OSHaRE. The virtual walk provides an opportunity for individuals, families, businesses, or groups to walk when they want, and where they want during the week of September 14th-25th, 2026.

One Church hosts multiple special events in a given year. These events are focused on bringing the larger body of Christ into a unified expression of the Church. Each event is organized through One Church which is run by the many affiliated churches that make up our organization.

Come join the churches of Barrie for a worship and prayer night as we believe together for His kingdom to come and His will to be done in our city and beyond. Each month we will have a focused area of prayer with representatives in that area of influence praying and being prayed for. Let’s all come expecting our great God to do great and mighty things!

What To Expect At Prayer?

We start off with praise and worship
We have designated people to pray over the various areas of focus from the front
We have breakout prayer groups with a facilitator
We will rotate between each of these activities above throughout the night.
