Join the churches of Barrie for a worship and prayer night as they believe together for His kingdom to come and His will to be done in our city and beyond. Each month there will be a focused area of prayer with representatives in that area of influence praying and being prayed for. Let’s all come expecting our great God to do great and mighty things!

What To Expect At Prayer?
– Start off with praise and worship
– There will be designated people to pray over the various areas of focus from the front
– Breakout prayer groups with a facilitator
– Rotate between each of these activities above throughout the night.

The East Peterborough Lions Club are hosting their 4th Annual Trunk or Treat event in the parking lot of Roger Neilson Public School. This is a free safe and all inclusive event held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on October 31st.

Join Trinity Church Owen Sound in Timothy Christian School’s back parking lot for a family friendly event for all ages. Visitors will walk from trunk to trunk receiving candy. When you’re finished, you can grab a hot chocolate or drop off a ballot to enter a prize draw for one of TWO huge lego sets! Where else can you collect THIS much candy in a short distance?

A night of music from The Salvation Army Canadian Songters Choir – Songs of Light & Hope Concert.

Music has always been a vital part of The Salvation Army’s ministry around the world. The Canadian Staff Songsters have been carrying on that ministry since 2016. These choristers lead the Canadian SA territory in worship, evangelism and integrated mission through music.

Redeemer University is hosting Christian singer-songwriter Chris Renzema for a public concert on November 7, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. Blending indie rock, contemporary Christian and folk, Renzema reflects on big questions through his music while remaining both personal and accessible. Songs like “Springtime” and “Adonai” have inspired audiences around the world.

Canadian worship leader Brooke Nicholls will open the evening.

How many meals has your family prepared this year? While you ponder that question, I am inviting you to attend our annual Jingle Bell Blitz. Jingle Bell Blitz is our annual food drive for the Newmarket Food Pantry! This year is our 17th year of working together to support those in our community with food insecurities. In those 17 years we have collected over 55,000 pounds of donations! The Newmarket Food Pantry serves close to 500 individuals and families each week! Did you ponder the question, “How many meals has your family prepared this past year”? The Newmarket Food Pantry provides over 1,000 meals a day through their various programs and services. The food collected in events such as Jingle Bell Blitz helps to provide those meals through the Newmarket Food Pantry. Come help us fill the Newmarket Food Pantry in a morning!

Tyndale’s Christmas in the Chapel returns for its 15th year on Saturday December 6, with exciting matinee and evening concerts. We are delighted to present the Tyndale Community Choir and the TCC Band, directed by Dr. Melissa Davis. Covenant Award-winning recording artist Saj McKenley joins as our special artist this year. This is a benefit concert with proceeds supporting Tyndale students through providing scholarships and bursaries.

Join our Street Team at Living Faith Community Presbyterian Church for their annual Christmas market which will feature many local artisans along with greenery and poinsettias, a white elephant room, and a hot lunch.

The Santa Shuffle is a 5km Fun Run and 1km Elf Walk for all ages and skill levels. Participants fundraise throughout the season to make a difference in their community. On event day, participants are encouraged to wear their funkiest festive running attire for a day of laughter and fun. After the event, each participant is rewarded a finisher medal to celebrate their accomplishment.

The Santa Shuffle is held in proud partnership with the Running Room.

Once again, the Schomberg Community Hall will be the base for the Christmas Market. Totally renovated, with new washrooms, wider stairs, and an elevator to the second floor, the refreshed Hall will is a welcome addition to A Main Street Christmas.

The Market is held from 3pm – 7:30pm.  

Admission to the craft show is included with the $5 cost of admission to A Main Street Christmas.

Our Town is a play about everyday life in the small town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire, at the turn of the 20th century. Through the stories of ordinary people, it highlights the beauty of simple moments and the fleeting nature of life. The play ultimately invites audiences to reflect on the preciousness of daily living.
