The Summer Director of Children’s Ministry will be responsible for planning and executing all children’s ministry activities run by Talbot Creek Community Church during the months of July and August 2026. This work will be done in partnership and coordination with the Volunteer Summer Camp Coordinator under the supervision of the Lead Pastor and/or Church Council.

Job Duration: 8 weeks (July & August 2026)
Hours & Compensation: 30hrs/week at $20/hr

Key Responsibilities

The Summer Program Coordinator is a full-time, 3-month position funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. This role supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of Camp Promise’s summer day camp and contributes to program preparation and wrap-up activities before and after the summer season.

The successful candidate will gain meaningful experience in youth programming, leadership, and nonprofit operations, while helping create a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered environment for children and families.

Experience in ministry development, supervision, fundraising & community outreach.

Specifically, we are looking for new Community Directors to support the communities of Erin, Grand Valley & Huntsville.

This is a full time position (35-40 hours/week). The starting salary range for this staff position is $44,500 to $48,000. It is determined on a scale based on education and experience (7-12 years) and is 100% funded on a missionary basis—requiring the gathering of a personal support team to cover the salary.
