Aging with Grace & Grit – Part 2

Aging with Grace & Grit – just how does one do that? What is important to us as we contemplate the end of life as we know it? What kind of care would we like to receive and where would we like to be? What factors might alter or mitigate our heartfelt desires? How can our desires be made known? These are questions that we hope to address in Aging with Grace & Grit – Part 2. To explore this, we have Dr. Marianne Belau, a family practice and palliative care physician, as well as Amy Pritzker, a social worker and the Bereavement Coordinator at Hospice Simcoe who will share their perspectives and talk about advance care planning. Advance Care Planning is all about having conversations about what kind of care you would like to receive if you were unable to speak for yourself. This is a Forum that is appropriate for any age (not just seniors) so plan to attend, listen, learn and ask your questions and start the conversation.
