Description of position:
The Development Coordinator reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic donors, business leaders and community partnerships. Management of donor database and recognition. Overseeing our key signature events. As well as developing and implementing annual fundraising plan and policies.
The Development Coordinator is responsible for:
Meeting donor needs by providing strategies and opportunities that raise revenue and other resources benefiting both the donor and The Lighthouse.
Overseeing the planning and implementation of signature events.
Researching, completing and applying for grant opportunities at the federal, provincial, municipal and local levels for opportunities, working collaboratively with managers for needs of the organization and reporting requirements.
Managing, updating and ensuring the accuracy of the donor database.
