The MCC Kids Ministry Leader will provide overall leadership in the key areas of: Oversight and planning. Budget and purchasing. Sunday morning service activities. Recruiting and scheduling volunteers. Equipping and caring for Kids’ Ministry volunteers and ensuring MCC Kids policy compliance.
This role involves a time commitment of approximately 2-3 hours on Sunday mornings with flexible work hours between.
Required Qualifications:
• A follower of Jesus Christ, and one who serves, as an example to children in the church and
demonstrates an understanding of how the Gospel transforms lives of children and ministry volunteers
• Creative event planner and solid communicator with children and their parents/caregivers
• A self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of MCC Kids Ministry
• Experience leading a team of volunteers
• Willingness to become consistently involved in the ministry of Muskoka Community Church aligning with the values and theology of MCC
