ATP Question: My friend says it is okay to do things that we know are sins because the Lord will forgive us. I don’t feel it is alright to knowingly cheat someone just because you can, and you can go home and ask for forgiveness. I cannot seem to accept this type of thinking. Are we not supposed to try to live as sin free a life as possible? Does being “Born again” make it okay to keep lying, cheating, and stealing on a regular basis because we can ask for forgiveness at the end of the day? cwcelder@live.ca
