Janis has been married for over 50 years, is a mother of three, and a grandmother of seven. Her journey in writing and painting began when God called her. With a BA and a teaching degree, she has always loved learning. She’s a retired teacher and business owner. Her first storybook, Tadeo Turtle, won the award for best children’s book in 2013.
