A while back my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. It has been challenging to watch how it has impacted his life. He has been a candidate for DBS (deep brain stimulation) we are hopeful that this brain surgery will relieve some of his pain, increase his quality of life without any negative impacts. We have seen God’s finger prints all throughout this journey, including having his surgery date moved up months in advance. We ask that you pray for the surgery team, our family, and most importantly that no matter the outcome that God would be glorified in this process.

Please pray for my 88-year-old mother. She still is suffering from a cough that she caught on Thanksgiving and now she has a growth on her eyelid that the Optometrist thinks may be cancerous. My mom told the Optometrist that she won’t have any tests since God will heal her of whatever it is. Pray for discernment.

PRAISE report:
I asked for prayer to get a cheaper apartment and I have gotten word I got the place I wanted. I will now be saving a substantial amount of money per month. Praise Jesus.

Please pray for Gail’s husband to come back to faith, her son and her  to reconcile and her cousin’s cancer to be cured. Pray for Tom and Annie, for his leukemia is cured, and her brain tumor to disappear.

Pray for my grandson who is two and just had cranial surgery (he is scheduled to have another in January).
My daughter has also just received news that her ex-husband will be getting rights and joint custody of her daughter. Trusting God is in control, but this could be problematic.

Addictions

I lost my wife a year ago (Nov.1 2018). It’s the worst thing I have had to go through. Recently, the company I contract for has scheduled me to work some terrible hours.
Also, I am going through something bad, and don’t know exactly what it is (planning to see my doctor soon).
I need some prayers to give me the strength to pull through.

Please pray for our 16-year-old son. He has disconnected himself from our family over the last several months to the point where he is only coming home late at night to sleep. He has been telling us that he is going to move out. He has been showing some positive independence during this time by going to his part-time job, and attending school most of the time, however we are concerned with who he is spending his time with and the activities that they’re engaging in. We are praying that his heart will be open to hearing the word of God and that he will break free from any negative influences. We are praying and thanking God for His truth and love, and for bringing restoration to our family. Amen

I’m struggling to stay connected with God and His Word. I’m in school full-time and work-full time. I have a puppy who also needs me, I pray every night for God to guide me and continue to show me his grace. I feel very distant and disconnected, I don’t know how to manage all of my stress/responsibilities and make the time for God.

I have taken on a new ministry role that currently has me away from my family during the work week while we work on the details of the move. Please pray:
a) we sell our home for right price to purchase a good home in our new city
b) we find the right house in our new home city that would be what my family needs and we can use as a blessing for others
c) my wife to find the right job so we can make finances work and she can continue to use her gifts for the Kingdom
d) that God would continue to get the glory in all of this
