Coldest Night of the Year drive-thru swag bag pickup

The Coldest Night of the Year is February 26 and the team has made the decision to go “semi-virtual,” which means the walk is on, but participants will do it on their own rather than as a group. But on February 12 and 26, The Lighthouse is hosting two drive thru events that will be fun and interactive.

Walkers will drive into our property at 75 Queen St. E. and be greeted by the Orillia Fire Department, The Faris Team, Our CNOY Committee, with music playing from the LIFE 100.3 booth, and given their walker toque and swag bags. They will then be directed to park next door at the Orillia Common Roof and stop by our photo booth (with The Lighthouse as the backdrop) and walk from there on their own initiative at that time.  We will also have hot chocolate and coffee from Tim Hortons to hand out to all drive through guests and volunteers on both pick up event days. Teams can choose to walk virtually during the month of February, their own 2km or 5km route OR choose to follow the routes we have posted on our cnoy.org/orillia website.

Times of Pick up events (drivers are not to exit their vehicles until they are next door for photo booth or parking to walk on their own time table):

February 12 – 10 am – 2 pm  (this date may change pending toque delivery and/or weather)

February 26 – 12 pm – 4pm  (National CNOY Walk Day)
