Full Time Cleaner
– Daily, weekly and monthly cleaning responsibilities including common areas and washrooms in two apartment buildings
– Floor mopping/scrubbing, shampoo and vacuuming as required
– Frequent cleaning of high contact areas
– Proactively report and/or attend to resident complaints in a professional and courteous manner
– Protect the health and safety of others by adopting safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions immediately to their supervisor
– Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facilities, common areas and guest washrooms
– Some other maintenance duties including snow shovelling, sand/salt distribution is required during the winter months
Job Requirements:
– High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
– Strong working knowledge of janitorial industry principles, methods, practices, and techniques
– Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals
– Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
