Reporting to the Executive Director, this 1 year contract position is responsible for the recruitment, engagement, development, and recognition of more than 175 volunteers who are essential to the delivery of Barrie Food Bank’s mission. The role also provides leadership for external community programs including our Student Nutrition Program (School Fuel), Little Pantries, After the Bell, community partnerships, and other outreach programs that extend Barrie Food Bank’s impact beyond our walls.
The Manager, Volunteer & Community Programs serves as the organization’s lead advocate for volunteer engagement and community partnerships, ensuring volunteers feel valued, supported, and connected while helping expand food security supports throughout the community.
