Kairos has more than 30,000 volunteers serving in over 500 prisons and communities across 37 U.S. states and 8 foreign countries as well as here in Canada. Kairos Canada teams currently serve both the medium and minimum-security units at Beaver Creek Institution (BCI). God is now opening a door for a women’s team to begin serving at Grand Valley Institution (GVI) in April 2026.

Our ministry holds two main retreat weekends each year, followed by monthly “Reunion Days” to continue building relationships and providing ongoing spiritual support.

Kairos grew out of the Cursillo movement and is supported by volunteers from many Christian denominations. It’s often said that Kairos is one of the few ministries where believers truly work together as the body of Christ, setting aside denominational differences to fulfill Jesus’ call in Matthew 25:36 “I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

We are currently seeking both men and women to serve inside the prisons and outside volunteers to assist on retreat weekends.

Stayner Camp & Christian Retreat Centre is seeking a part-time Food Services Cook to support our mission of impacting lives through the life-changing love of Jesus through hospitality. This role is ideal for someone passionate about serving others, working with teams, and delivering high-quality food experiences for groups of 15–100 guests. Reporting to the Food Services Coordinator or Managing Director, the Food Services Cook prepares, presents, and serves meals with excellence in a positive, faith-driven environment. The Cook may also work independently in the supervisor’s absence.

Successful candidate must be willing to work a variety of day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts. This part-time position will commence in January 2026. Potential for growth within the organization and Full Time hours during peak seasons.

The Maintenance Team supports the daily operations of Muskoka Bible Centre by ensuring facilities and grounds are functional, safe, and well cared for. This is a hands-on role that includes general repairs and upkeep, contributing to the welcoming environment guests expect at MBC.

Team members use both general maintenance abilities and trade-specific skills such as HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, water systems, or IT. Responsibilities include responding to repair needs, completing seasonal work, operating equipment safely, and working together to meet quality and safety standards while upholding MBC’s mission.

Qualified applicants bring at least five years of related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding setting. Trade certifications are an asset, along with a servant-hearted, team-focused attitude and alignment with MBC’s Code of Conduct.

We are currently seeking a part-time Ministry Director to join the staff team at Common Ground Church in Fall 2025. We are a warm, welcoming Jesus-centered church rooted in the Anabaptist tradition, and we belong to the Be In Christ denomination.
Main duties of this role include: Casting vision for Sunday services, possess skills for administration, planning and organization; technical support & troubleshooting. Experience and gifting in the area of musical

The Graphic Designer, Communications Coordinator is responsible for leading and overseeing all graphic design for print and digital applications, social media and website management, and content for weekly newsletters, emails, and internal applications. Experience in photography, media and production is an asset. They will provide oversight and management of the Compass Communications strategy both internally and externally. This position will take a leadership role in meeting the communications and marketing needs of Compass and its associated sites and ministries. This high capacity and forward-thinking leader will become part of our staff team reporting to the Director of Worship and Creative Arts and is a member of the creative team. The role of Director of Worship & Creative Arts will oversee the creative aspects and elements of our Sunday morning gatherings, including our online service and our church-wide events, across all of our sites. They will also lead a creative team overseeing all areas of communication, media and production at Compass. Custodian your objective is to do general cleaning and maintenance work utilizing general trade skills, and set up and tear down for events/meetings as required.

Responsibilities
– Work as part of a kitchen team to prepare and serve well-balanced, nutritious, and delicious meals to all our guests
– Prep, bake, and assist with the preparation of meals for groups ranging from 20 to 200
– Independently lead and execute some meals
– Help with general kitchen responsibilities: dishwashing, cleaning, dining room duties
– Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety
