This is a full time position (35-40 hours/week). The starting salary range for this staff position is $44,500 to $48,000. It is determined on a scale based on education and experience (7-12 years) and is 100% funded on a missionary basis—requiring the gathering of a personal support team to cover the salary. As part of the Food Service Team, your primary goal will be to provide a great food service experience for campers, staff and guest groups. In May and June you would help prepare meals for our staff and guest groups while familiarizing yourself with our kitchens, systems, recipes and approach to special diets and allergies. In July and August we run four kitchens to support approximately 400-500 people (campers, staff and volunteers) each week. Your primary responsibility during this period is to help serve individuals with special dietary needs (some weeks we have up to 60 people with special diets). This involves communicating with the parents of campers, meal planning and then preparing and delivering meals at set times throughout the day. You will also be required to assist our adult volunteers in the kitchens preparing the regular meals for guests without dietary needs.

Kairos has more than 30,000 volunteers serving in over 500 prisons and communities across 37 U.S. states and 8 foreign countries as well as here in Canada. Kairos Canada teams currently serve both the medium and minimum-security units at Beaver Creek Institution (BCI). God is now opening a door for a women’s team to begin serving at Grand Valley Institution (GVI) in April 2026.

Our ministry holds two main retreat weekends each year, followed by monthly “Reunion Days” to continue building relationships and providing ongoing spiritual support.

Stayner Camp & Christian Retreat Centre is seeking a part-time Food Services Cook to support our mission of impacting lives through the life-changing love of Jesus through hospitality. This role is ideal for someone passionate about serving others, working with teams, and delivering high-quality food experiences for groups of 15–100 guests. Reporting to the Food Services Coordinator or Managing Director, the Food Services Cook prepares, presents, and serves meals with excellence in a positive, faith-driven environment. The Cook may also work independently in the supervisor’s absence.

The Maintenance Team supports the daily operations of Muskoka Bible Centre by ensuring facilities and grounds are functional, safe, and well cared for. This is a hands-on role that includes general repairs and upkeep, contributing to the welcoming environment guests expect at MBC.

Team members use both general maintenance abilities and trade-specific skills such as HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, water systems, or IT.
