Christian Radio Advertising Sales • New-Business / “Hunter” Role

Compensation: Guaranteed draw in Year 1 & 2 + uncapped commission
Reports to: Sales Manager, Life 100.3 (Trust Communications Ministries)

About the role
Life 100.3 is a listener-supported ministry reaching communities across the province. We’re hiring a driven sales hunter to open and grow a new advertising territory from the ground up. This is a build-it role: you’ll prospect, win new advertisers, and develop long-term partnerships that fund and extend the ministry’s reach. You’re a strong fit if you

• Have a genuine passion for Christian radio and want your work to make a spiritual and community impact, not just a financial one.
• Are a true hunter energized by prospecting and winning new business, not just managing existing accounts.
• Bring at least 2 years of successful B2B or media sales experience and are comfortable owning the full cycle from prospecting to close and renewal.
• Are self-directed and disciplined, able to manage a flexible, mostly-remote schedule and plan your own client visits across the territory.
• Enjoy relationship-based selling building long-term trust with business owners and ministry partners rather than high-pressure transactional sales.
• Are comfortable with everyday technology (HubSpot CRM, email, Zoom, Microsoft Office) and keeping your pipeline and notes current.
• Have a reliable vehicle and are willing to travel within the territory (approx. 20%+) and be onsite about 1 day per week.

What you’ll do

• Acquire new advertisers and develop strategic partnerships, building the territory toward ~$250,000 in annual revenue over three years.
• Serve as the main point of contact for advertising opportunities in your region, ensuring a consistent, ministry-aligned presence in the market.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing advertisers and grow long-term recurring revenue.
• Plan your own travel to efficiently cover the territory and maximize time with high-potential accounts.
• Keep an active, accurate pipeline in HubSpot and maintain a 90%+ advertiser renewal rate.
• Attend weekly ministry prayer breakfasts to represent Life 100.3 and build relationships with business owners and supporting businesses in attendance.

Activity expectations
We measure effort, not just outcomes. On a typical week in your first year, you’ll aim for roughly 40 prospecting calls, 15 new conversations, 8 discovery meetings, 4 proposals, and at least 1 new advertiser won building toward 2–3 new advertisers and ~$6,250 in new revenue each month.

Compensation & what we offer
This is a results-driven plan built to reward a hunter:

• Year-1 income security through a guaranteed monthly draw that steps down as your commission grows.
• Uncapped commission weighted toward new business, with accelerators that pay more as you produce more no ceiling on your earnings.
• On-target earnings ramping to about $70,000 by Year 3, with top performers earning more.
• Flexible schedule, work-from-home, company events, and a small, faith-driven team.

Territory
You’ll develop and grow advertising partnerships across your assigned territory within Life 100.3’s broadcast region (Barrie, Peterborough, Owen Sound, Huntsville and surrounding communities to be confirmed for the successful candidate). You’ll work primarily remotely, with approximately 20%+ travel for in-person client meetings and about 1 onsite day each week.

Requirements
